A carefully planned diverse preschool program is essential for proper child growth both mentally and physically. The very reason why pre-schools are so eagerly sought after is because they put children on the path to learning, knowledge and prosperity. Circle time: this is a time that you can sit on the floor with your child and discuss anything they want to talk about; their feelings, what they did the day before, or what they are concerned about. This is a time that they can ask questions without being judged.

The program aims to utilize all five senses that a child possesses early on. Instead of watching TV, children are encouraged to create their own play. Group oriented sessions and activities such as painting, coloring, singing, and reading offer children with the freedom to express themselves and say things how they see it.

A good pre-school set-up should be based on the theory that children need to be engaged with materials and people and be exposed to various ideas and events. Teachers work actively with children and support their decision making as they make their own choices about materials, events and activities. This concept revolves around experiencing different things which are grouped together in the following ten broad categories: Time, Numbers, Space, Language, Music, Movement, Classification, Social Relations, Co-ordination and Representation.

Lunch time/play time: take the time to eat lunch and then go outside if it is possible to play. The rest of the afternoon should be filled with arts and crafts, story time, then nap time because their minds and bodies need to rest.
