Your furry friends are panting heavily, has a rapid heartbeat, their tongue and gums will turn dark or bright red, excessively drooling or thirsty. As for their physical and actions, they could be having seizures, bloody diarrhea, glazed eyes, staggering, uncoordinated, will loss consciousness, and starts vomiting.

What to do when someone is experiencing heat exhaustion. Move the person to a cool place, lie then down, and keep the feet slightly raise. Let them drink a glass of water, you may use a rehydration or sports drink as an alternative when water is not available. Cool down their skin by spraying or damping it with cool water or by fanning them.

Anticipation. There are straightforward advances that you could do to anticipate this. When climate condition is hot, do not leave them outside. If they have to be outside the home, give them a lot of water and place them in a concealed and cool spot. You may put some ice to their water, so that it will stay cool. Let them play in water by bathing them.

For children. Adults should remember that kids may not have idea that they are getting overheated, and they can most of the time be wrapped up in whatever it is that they are doing. A parent, coach, or another supervisor must impose breaks so children can cool themselves and quench their thirst. Here is how to avoid heatstroke.

Keep your kids hydrated. Children who are properly hydrated will not have any difficulty in their body temperatures when exposed to the heat of the sun. Adults must keep on reminding them to drink a plenty of water whenever outside. For kids who are participating in activities or sports, there has to be a water break every fifteen to twenty minutes.

As mentioned earlier, pets can suffer from this as well. If your dog is too hot, and they themselves cannot reduce the temperature of their body by panting, heatstroke will come after, which could kill them. When they are showing signs of heatstroke, bring them to a shaded and cool area, and call the help of a vet right away.

What to do. The best thing to do in this situation is to call 911 and cool the child. For athletic kids, have them bathe in ice after every practice. The first thing you have to do is bring the kids in a shaded and cool area. Soak towels in cold water and wipe this all over the skin. Make them drink some cool water. The thing about heatstroke is its victim sometimes stop sweating as they are too hydrated.
